Whether you’re the Princess of Pop or just a pauper from Manhattan, all shows are free and 21+ to attend (unless otherwise listed), with $10 suggested donation.

Computer Magic

Open writers group! Jokes are out, truth is in. Irony is dead, comedy is alive. Computers are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. Poetry, prose, short story, drama, whatever… only rule: tell the truth (PS… truth is subjective).
Ben Callahan & Co

Stand-up comedian Ben Callahan presents some of the funniest comics working in New York. Come see Natan Badalov (Adult Swim), Antoine Nessralla (Boston Comedy Festival), Jared Apper (”Latina Guy”), David Baker (OnlyFriends Comedy), and Alexis Ramirez (Laugh Alert Comedy) for a great show start to finish.
Déa and the Drips

Déa and the Drips are a new Brooklyn-based indie trio that fuses together a gnarly potion of folk, pop, & punk-rock. The coven is made up of Déa, Aspen, and Caro, who met on a moonlit night in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. Their hex-proof cauldron is specially brewed to connect queer comrades far and wide. It’s Derby Day!! The time honored tradition is back! Pete’s Kentucky Derby Party is not to be missed. Fit for Dames and Dandies or denizens of OTB alike, this is a throw down for lovers of bourbon, barbecue, and betting, not to mention the Mint Juleps and screaming excitement of racetime!! For the Confectioners and Bakers out there, bring a homemade pie by 5:15 for judging by a panel of experts and the chance to win $$$! Dandified duds encouraged. Bring your gumption and your greenbacks!

The Parallel Lines

St. Terrible

Heartfelt musician, story-teller, and artist based out of Boise, ID. Ranging from experimental folk to ambient minimalism, St. Terrible is a multi-instrumentalist who uses live looping and improvisation to create rich, emotionally charged songs. Listen to Sleepless.

Biology on Tap

Silent Writing Happy Hour

Taking inspiration from the infinite canon of literature past and present, we present weekly short readings, inspiring 30-minute exercises, offering writers the space and direction to write silently and hone their skills. Writers may share their writing, as the spirit and time dictates. The last portion of the evening is devoted to self-directed work on whatever project you have that merits such.

Star Country (Josh Bolin)

New York City based Star County plays cosmic American music that is steeped in the sounds of folk-rock, country and the American heartland. Fronted by Ohio-raised Josh Bolin, the band features JP Pacelli (guitar), Rob Hellyer (bass), Szecso “Setch” Szendrody (drums), Mike West (piano). Their newest release “Babylon” is out now.

NYC’s finest trivia beckons. Got the brains? Bring your friends and wrack your noodles with six rounds of clever, fun, HARD trivia. The most experienced trivia hosts in the city will test your mental mettle in areas of General Knowledge, Music, Top Tens, and Visual Identification. First Prize is a $75 bar tab, Second Prize is a $40 bar tab and Third Prize is a $15 bar tab. But the real prize (besides bragging rights for those who place, and a berth in the twice yearly finals) is the time honored social scene of the Quizz-Off crowd. Give it a try smart guy! And come early for a good table.
